Shipping Methods

We use two primary shipping methods depending on the size and weight of your order:

  1. Parcel Shipping (UPS, FedEx, USPS, or SpeeDee) Small items and accessories typically ship via parcel carrier. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.
  2. LTL Freight (Less-Than-Truckload) Larger items such as railing kits, posts, gates, and full pallet orders ship via LTL freight on a 53′ semi-truck. This is curbside/tailgate delivery only — the driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the back of the truck (usually in your driveway or street). The driver is not responsible for moving the pallet onto your property, up stairs, or into a garage.

Important LTL Delivery Information

  • Someone must be present to receive and sign for the shipment. If no one is available, the driver may leave the pallet curbside (at your risk) or return it to the terminal, resulting in re-delivery fees billed to you.
  • Delivery appointments are highly recommended and sometimes required by the carrier. The freight company will contact you directly to schedule a date and delivery window.

Receiving Your Freight Shipment

When the truck arrives, please follow these steps:

  1. Inspect before signing Thoroughly check the packaging for visible damage while the driver is still present. Compare the shipment to the order confirmation we provide in your shipping confirmation email.
  2. Note any issues on the delivery receipt (very important)
    • If there is damage: Take clear photos, point it out to the driver, and write “Damaged” plus a brief description on the delivery receipt/POD before signing.
    • If pieces are missing or the count is short: Note “Short X pieces” or “Missing items” on the receipt.
    • Do NOT sign “clear” or leave the signature line blank if there are issues.
  3. Sign only after inspection Signing the delivery receipt without noting damage or shortages may void your ability to file a freight claim.
  4. Unpack and verify contents Once the driver leaves, open the packaging and confirm everything matches your packing list (especially the “Shipped” quantities). Report any concealed damage or discrepancies to us within 48 hours.

Backorders & Partial Shipments

If an item is out of stock, we may ship available items first and send backordered items later at no additional shipping cost to you. Your packing list will show:

  • Ordered quantity and shipped quantity
  • Please check in product using the “Shipped” column only.

Processing & Lead Times

Most in-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days. Custom fabrications, powder-coated items, or special-order products may have longer lead times clearly noted on the product page. You will receive tracking as soon as your order ships.
